I was intimidated by most of the people inside carrying all these giant DSLRs with tripods and lenses that were longer than foot, but you know what… I’m satisfied with the pictures I took and I did not have to carry anything outside my pockets.

That’s me taking photos with the Nokia N95 8GB

You can view my macro photos on Flickr, but feel free to browse using the flash slider below. Of course, we can’t compare the quality to a Digital DLR on enlarged printed photos, but when uploaded and shared on Flickr like what I usually do, carrying a DSLR or another standalone digital camera becomes unnecessary.

You might also want to take a look at other photo samples I’ve taken with my Nokia N95 8GB while cherry picking and during a visit to a Buddhist Monastery.

I went to Botanical Garden in the Bronx with Sheila today and took some macro pictures using the Nokia N95 8GB. The 5 megapixels Carl Zeiss lens performed well for a phone.

Nokia Nokia and BH-902 The Free I Hands To Challenge Win Entered A N82
Good luck!

Nokia just launched the Free Hands Challenge where you can win a Nokia N82 and the Nokia BH-902 bluetooth headset each week. I am not passing on this opportunity, so I’ve already uploaded my video. We messed up a bit, but check it out.

Video might not be visible in your RSS reader. The challenge itself is to find out what people can do with their hands. My first video is during a cultural show where we demonstrated stickfighting martial arts. Pretty cool! Upload your videos now and also leave the links to your videos in the comments below with a short description to get some more views. I’m the one in the red, and Allen is the one who gets the girl.

The most popular video each week wins a prize.

Let me know your guesses in the comments below with your reasons and I’ll post the result in a couple of days with their true resolution size. Which phones are A, B, or C? I hope it isn’t too easy? Take a look and let me know which phone corresponds to the photo.

Update: The results have been posted here.

The Sort S60 Main Screen… My Removed Of Nokia Useless Search the On and Hacked Phone
In essence, hacking your S60-powered phones like the Nokia Nseries and Eseries devices lets you install unsigned applications and apply patches. The bad thing about it is the changes applied by the patch needs to be reapplied every time the phone is restarted.

There’s no option to remove the Search on the active display. Maybe more useful patches will come out in the future. I never really understood it or saw the point, but I tried it today to remove that useless search tool on the main display of the the Nokia blog is about hacking S60. I rather use the Google Search app.

So here are the pictures before and after the hack.

Hack Your S60

Want to hack your S60 Nokia phone? Is it worth it? I have not found any other useful patches other than being able to remove the search from the active display screen. Eh.

I don’t use it and don’t really want it on my main screen. Go to Symbian-Freak’s Modding forums for instructions on hacking S60 and using the ROMPatcher.
