Open Project Screen Adobe
Adobe has announced details about the Open Screen Project, pretty important news for mobile Flash Lite developers as well. Mark Doherty/Adobe writes in his blog more details and thoughts to non-PC developers (mobile being important one). “The Open Screen Project is dedicated to driving consistent rich Internet experiences across televisions, personal computers, mobile devices, and consumer electronics.” “The Open Screen Project is working to enable a consistent runtime environment — taking advantage of Adobe® Flash® Player and, in the future, Adobe AIR™ — that will remove barriers for developers and designers as they publish content and applications across desktops and devices, including phones, mobile Internet devices (MIDs), and set top boxes.” It is supported by technology leaders, including Adobe, ARM, Chunghwa Telecom, Cisco, Intel, LG Electronics Inc., Marvell, Motorola, Nokia, NTT DoCoMo, Qualcomm, Samsung Electronics Co., Sony Ericsson, Toshiba and Verizon Wireless, and leading content providers, including BBC, MTV Networks, and NBC Universal. Some of the things this means: Removing restrictions on use of the SWF and FLV/F4V specifications Publishing the device porting layer APIs for Adobe Flash Player Publishing the Adobe Flash® Cast™ protocol and the AMF protocol for robust data services Removing licensing fees - making next major releases of Adobe Flash Player and Adobe AIR for devices free

Let me know if you had any experience replacing the houing yourself. Let me just warn you that it looks a little intimidating. Example: This is step 11 of changing the Nokia N82’s housing faceplate. If you are reading this in your RSS reader, you might not be able to see the embedded flash document below. n82 disassembly - Get more documents Now you know how to disassemble the Nokia N82 and replace the housing or the faceplate. The Nokia N82 service manual shows you step by step with pictures how to disassemble the Nokia N82. I suggest trying to look for keywords such as “OEM” when purchasing parts. Finding replacement housing is easy as searching on eBay, but I can’t guarantee anything about their quality. If you are getting tired of your current Nokia N82 faceplate or housing, there’s an official way to replace it. Complements Adobe 6 Review: Elements Cameraphones
Elements 6 is a full featured program geared more towards users who wouldn’t be considered novices nor experts by any means. I know it’s a bit off topic, but I recently purchased Adobe’s new Elements for my Mac. The I chose to use a filter called “Bas Relief” to make it look like the following: … or how about a different look? Final Thoughts My advice is to purchase the program and start experimenting with the different edit options. I went with the box rout since It would’ve taken a tad bit longer over the interweb. Anyway, the box itself is minimal. Unless you’re a professional photographer and who is dependent on great photos in order to eat, this is a solid program for you. Sample Edits Here is the welcome screen where you have the option to choose where you can import pictures from. Here is a simple photo I took of Mark the other day. Well, I decided to show a simple little edit that will turn Mark’s boring background into a more interesting white and black-distorted background. A quick little 2 minute edit using the Quick Selection Tool to isolate his background. However, I think a review is appropriate. It is a great complement to your Nseries cameraphones. Possessing a cameraphone like the Nokia N95 or the Nokia N82 that can take 5 megapixel pictures and not having a decent program to correct some of the “faults”, either by the user, phone, or situation, is unacceptable. Why shoot pictures without being able to make them even more beautiful? In my case, it’s not a problem, I love exploring. Many people think that this is just a watered down version of CS3. As we all know, the speed of light in a vacuum is 299,792,458 metres per second (as per wiki, lol). Go DARK after the jump Lol, that was our buddy Andrew. Well, have you ever wondered what the speed of dark is? Well, I’ve actually got the speed for you, and believe it or not, it was captured with my Nokia N95-NAM! My friends and family have become more wary when I’m around, due to the fact that I always have my little friend to record any insanity at any moment. Probably not, it’s not the most common thing to pop into one’s head. And no, he wasn’t offended nor saddened by my little tasteless joke. You can view one of the videos below. Geotagging Photos With Location Tagger I was also running Location Tagger on my Nokia N95 while taking pictures. Introductory was definitely not easy. All the photos were tagged with the current GPS location. Take a look at the photos below and Flickr will show you the location in the photo’s exif data. My boots were too heavy and it tired me out right after we started. Recording Hike With Sports Tracker The hike was recorded with GPS data using Nokia Sports Tracker. If you would like to know how to do this on your blog, read my guides on embedding geotagged photos and embedding sports tracker data to your blog. It’s good to know that I was able to do all of this at the same time using a device that I carry around every day: my mobile phone. Streaming live videos during a hike with the Nokia N82 in the United States will be useless. The next hike for next Sunday is at Popolopen Gorge with the distance of 5 miles and 1,000 feet vertical rise. May not be visible in RSS readers. Streaming Live With Qik I was also streaming live videos using Qik, but decided only to do it in safer trails because I did not want to get hurt if I lost my footing and needed to hold on to something. The first hike was in Castle Rock Unique Area in Philipstown, NY, which is about an hour and a half north of New York City. The introductory hike was 2 miles with a vertical height of 700 feet. I know the Nokia N82 was marketed for this kind of usage, but any phone running S60 3rd edition is capable. Below is a map of the hike showing geotagged photos right on the map. I’m currently taking a hiking class and will be hiking every Sunday until May. I don’t want to get too technical with this post so head over to S60 to learn more about it. On the upcoming Nseries phones, this will be done automatically without installing another program! Thoughts I was able to record my hike’s path, take GPS-tagged photos, and stream live videos to the internet. Subscribe to the Nokia blog feed to watch my progress. Currently, Sports Tracker users cannot have embeddable codes to show off their maps on blogs. Import the KML file you downloaded in Step 3. I also select satellite view because think it looks cooler. You also need accounts over at Sports Tracker for the routing data and Google for the embeddable map code. Instructions Step 1. Use Sports Tracker on your phone to record your location data. What’s cool about this is that readers can zoom in, out and move the map within the blog post. View Larger Map Need more instructions? As you make adjustments, the html code automatically changes. Step 7. When you are done with the adjustments, just copy and paste the HTML code to your blog post. Now go make Stavros jealous by creating your own position art masterpiece then sharing it on your blog! Here’s an my attempt I was in Mexico. I usually reframe the map so the path is centered, then change the size to fit my blog’s width. The data will be uploaded to Sports Tracker online. Step 3. On the Sports Tracker website, the route will be displayed on a map. During my vacation in Mexico, I used the Nokia N95 NAM with Nokia Sports Tracker to help me track where I travelled and help me locate where the pictures I took with. Click on “Link to this page” on the upper right corner, then “Customize and preview embedded map.” Step 6. Adjust the look and size of the map. It looks like an upside-down big dipper. Click Upload, then Done. Step 5. Now we are getting the actual html code to embed in our blog. I already shared how to embed the location of geotagged photos but now I’ll tell you how to include the location path you took and perhaps create and share position art like Stavros. Requirements You need Sports Tracker installed on a GPS-enabled Nseries phone like the Nokia N95 or Nokia N82. To get this map on our blogs, we need to download the data as KML file by pressing the KML button above the map. Step 4. Log in to Google Maps and go to ‘My Maps’ to create a new map.

In a nutshell, the tech will allow Flash Lite content to be encapsulated in Java ME applications; especially (or solely) the UI. Flash has been used widely in creating UI for quite some time, including console games, and whole mobile phone UI’s. Communication between Flash Lite and Java is bi-directional meaning that Flash Lite can send requests to and receive events from Java. Review: N95 Nokia Look And Feel 8GB
Be careful not to scratch the camera lens too much, or it might negatively affect the image quality of the photos. Battery. Opening the battery cover shows off the 1200mah battery. A big minus, however, is a missing micro-SD card slot. The location is perfect for talking on the phone with speakerphones. On the right side are the volume controls, the Gallery button, and the camera shoot button. The camera button works like other point-and-shoots. There are however, small amount of people who complain about the slider, so just hope that you are not unlucky. Back The surface has a “sticky” rubber surface which makes it feel comfortable in the hands. I’ll finish this part off by saying that I agree with Steve Litchfield’s review claiming the Nokia N95 8GB is the best phone ever made. The contrasting chrome with black buttons look great, too. Dual Slide. The Nokia N95 8GB is more than a slider phone. Transferring files will be limited to bluetooth or USB transfer. I have no complaints about the volume. On the left side are the infrared port and a 3.5mm jack for headset and the TV-out cable that lets you view your screen on a TV or monitor with composite video and RCA inputs. Bottom The bottom of the Nokia N95 8GB consists of port for the charger, mini-usb connector for transferring files with the computer, and the microphone. I personally like the gloss and shine. Glossy display on the Nokia N95 8GB On top of the screen are the earpiece, secondary camera, and a light sensor which automatically adjusts display and keypad brightness according to the surrounding. Project Open Adobe Screen
The first hike was in Castle Rock Unique Area in Philipstown, NY, which is about an hour and a half north of New York City. The introductory hike was 2 miles with a vertical height of 700 feet. Streaming live videos during a hike with the Nokia N82 in the United States will be useless. You can view one of the videos below. Geotagging Photos With Location Tagger I was also running Location Tagger on my Nokia N95 while taking pictures. For the next hike, I need to bring better shoes. I know the Nokia N82 was marketed for this kind of usage, but any phone running S60 3rd edition is capable. It’s good to know that I was able to do all of this at the same time using a device that I carry around every day: my mobile phone. My boots were too heavy and it tired me out right after we started. Recording Hike With Sports Tracker The hike was recorded with GPS data using Nokia Sports Tracker. All the photos were tagged with the current GPS location. You can also change views or zoom in. May not be visible in RSS readers. Streaming Live With Qik I was also streaming live videos using Qik, but decided only to do it in safer trails because I did not want to get hurt if I lost my footing and needed to hold on to something. I don’t want to get too technical with this post so head over to S60 to learn more about it. Take a look at the photos below and Flickr will show you the location in the photo’s exif data. I’m currently taking a hiking class and will be hiking every Sunday until May. Below is a map of the hike showing geotagged photos right on the map. On the upcoming Nseries phones, this will be done automatically without installing another program! Click on “Link to this page” on the upper right corner, then “Customize and preview embedded map.” Step 6. Adjust the look and size of the map. I also select satellite view because think it looks cooler. Import the KML file you downloaded in Step 3. I already shared how to embed the location of geotagged photos but now I’ll tell you how to include the location path you took and perhaps create and share position art like Stavros. Requirements You need Sports Tracker installed on a GPS-enabled Nseries phone like the Nokia N95 or Nokia N82. You can choose to run, walk, or whatever and it will record your path. Step 2. When You are done, select ‘Upload to Service’ on the workout summary screen on your phone. What’s cool about this is that readers can zoom in, out and move the map within the blog post. View Larger Map Need more instructions? To get this map on our blogs, we need to download the data as KML file by pressing the KML button above the map. Step 4. Log in to Google Maps and go to ‘My Maps’ to create a new map. Currently, Sports Tracker users cannot have embeddable codes to show off their maps on blogs. It looks like an upside-down big dipper. During my vacation in Mexico, I used the Nokia N95 NAM with Nokia Sports Tracker to help me track where I travelled and help me locate where the pictures I took with. I usually reframe the map so the path is centered, then change the size to fit my blog’s width. You also need accounts over at Sports Tracker for the routing data and Google for the embeddable map code. Instructions Step 1. Use Sports Tracker on your phone to record your location data. Here’s an my attempt I was in Mexico. As you make adjustments, the html code automatically changes. Step 7. When you are done with the adjustments, just copy and paste the HTML code to your blog post. Click Upload, then Done. Step 5. Now we are getting the actual html code to embed in our blog.

J2ME, Ericsson Sony with cross-breed Flash Lite
Communication between Flash Lite and JSRs are handled through an intermediate class that works as a translator. In case Flash Lite wants to access some information then it is done through Java. This class listens to Flash Lite requests, transfers these to JSR calls, and sends response back to Flash Lite. Sony Ericsson has created a tool that makes it possible to combine aspects of Java and Flash Lite in a single application. In a nutshell, the tech will allow Flash Lite content to be encapsulated in Java ME applications; especially (or solely) the UI. Flash has been used widely in creating UI for quite some time, including console games, and whole mobile phone UI’s. Requests send from Flash Lite are made in an asynchronous manner.” Capuchin sound like interesting opportunity, let’s see how things turn to. With Nseries To: Camera Imaging HDR How Phones
You can use 2 seconds for the timer this time. Next, take a third picture with the Exposure compensation set to -2. Now you’re done with your shot. After you have finished taking pictures, upload them to your computer. You can get better results if you add more exposures. High Dynamic Range imaging, better known as HDR, is a great way to make your digital photos look awesome. It costs about $30 and looks great with the N93 or N95 8GB. Set the timer to 10 seconds. Activate the timer. You will now have you first shot. First you need to make sure your phone has exposure and ISO settings. Now press back.
